They make one of the best cheeseburgers in town.

Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was juicy and tender. Great sandwich.

Small place , not much for swatting but the food was good.

Food was extremely quick and very hot and fresh. Really good homemade ranch. Excellent burgers.

It's b bops. It's a great burger.

Food was piping hot and put together very well on the bun. Quick service, correct condiments and plenty of napkins were all placed in the bag.

After reading the reviews about B-Bops we were expecting to be “wowed” however, the burgers tasted like the fast food from Burger king. The service was fast and the drink was good but the food was way too expensive for what we got as we had to pay $12.50. Overall we will not be coming back to B-Bops again.

Tasted good, but didn't end up agreeing with my stomach. Also- there was a huge drama scene when we were there between what appeared to be 2 employees.

Burgers are super good. I went two times so far and have not been disappointed. Add jalapeňos to your burger and it is 1000 times better.

Visiting on Sunday, Jan. 26 around 1:30 p.m. There is about a foot of snow on the ground and it's very cold out. We decided to eat inside. I realize this amount of snow makes anywhere look very dirty. However, this place was very dirty even taking into consideration the weather. I was not excited about sitting a table. The food was decent. The fries were hard and overcooked. The burgers extremely messy, especially the fish sandwich. Definitely not food you would want to eat if you are in a car, you'd have a mess on your hands.

First time here and we ordered a single burger, single cheesburger, large and small fry and it came to $12.50. The burgers taste very close to those at Burger King and they were honestly nothing special whatsoever.. The fries were lukewarm and overall we would have to be very hungry with no other options before we came back. It wasn't bad food by any means, but based on other reviews, we were hoping to be "wowed." I'm not sure you could tell this burger apart from Burger King in blind tests and that's a bit disappointing.

Latenight greasy burger joint guilty pleasures. Grilled like Burger Kings style but better tasting burger. Fries are skinny, tasty straws that are awesome dipped in the cheese sauce and their ranch is that good. Double BBQ burger is the go to. Chicken and pork tenderlois are worth a go if not doing burgers. BLT is worth a mention too. Need chocolate shake? They have that too.

Great food. Ordered for 4 adults, so not a small order. Did not get any ketchup, which we should have confirmed, but not one napkin was put in the sack. That is unacceptable.

B-Bops Bops. It's like better McDonald's or Burger King. The nuggets are a little whatever but the burgers and other sandwiches are pretty good looking and taste good. Nice people fun atmosphere. Was all a pretty good time. It's like a weird 70s or 80s diner but with food from the 21st century. 10/10 would eat at again. Shame its not on the east coast to my knowledge.

Best burgers in Des Moines area! I try to always grab a 1/4 cheeseburger when I visit up Home (central Iowa). They'd only be better if they had a restaurant down in the SE corner of the state so I didn't have to settle for less. Lol I'd probably be super fat, though. HahahaThe employees have always been very friendly. On the two rate occasions that my order was topped wrong, they fixed it right away, no hassle. I go for the cheeseburgers, but drinks are also good and fries aren't bad either. Definitely a great burger in my opinion.

I've been to this B-Bop's on 3 separate occasions and every time it's been wrong and haven't had any help from them to correct it. Not a double as I had paid for. They never answer their phones as well.

It's B-Bop's = it's delicious. Can't go wrong here.

My review is biased as it reminds me alot of my childhood. It's one of the few places that hasn't changed much over the years. Always a great place for a cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate shake. The chilis good as well.

It's a great place to eat very clean and the sandwiches are the best and the French Fries , Chili soup and those Manwiitch Sliders I sure you be disappointed in there restaurant I remember Me Johnson when he was in Newton I do wish he would bring one back to Newton great Job Mr Johnson and your crew .

B-bops is one of my all time favorite places to eat. The burgers have a little char taste to them. The fries are so flaky and delicious. It tastes like an old school burger place and I love it! The chocolate shakes are so thick that they are impossible to drink from a straw. They taste yummy. The design replicates that of a 50s burger joint. I beyond love this place! My favorite place to eat when I'm in Des Moines. Have I mentioned I love it! The number 2 meal with cheese. Yum!😋

OUR FIRST TIME WAS 1 WEEK AGO AND WE CAN SAID THE BEST PLACE. THE BEST BURGUER AND WE LOVE THE DECORATION LIKE 80'. 5☆PLUS

Customer service was bad last week, chili was good. They shorted me $10 in change. They counted their drawer and only came up with 2.95 in an overage and stated that was all they could give me back! Positive I gave a 20 since it was from the small stack of $20's that I just got from the ATM! So my lunch cost me an extra $7. Not a good feeling today. Need to get another cashier, obviously she has made mistakes all day.

Best fast food I have ever had their burgers are amazing

It was the worst . We have always had good experience but on this night the food was terrible the meat was old and the fries were cold we took them back up for a fresh one and they took our fries and dumped then back in the oil and then gave them back to us . I gave them a one star because there chocolate shake was good .
